The Curious Kids program gives you consistent, predictable monthly income without the extra planning. Registration is for the full year, so once a family signs up, you have a 10-month commitment and guaranteed revenue built in. No constantly rebuilding classes, hoping for drop ins or wondering who’s coming next session.
Very minimal.
You’ll need a few basic items: a small table (a folding one works great), 5 stacking toddler chairs, a handful of puzzles and toys for free play, and simple craft supplies. It’s intentionally designed to be low-lift and easy to set up in your existing space.
No formal certification is required.
What matters most is training in the Curious Kids method, a genuine love for working with young children, and the ability to connect with them in a meaningful way. We’ll guide you through everything you need to feel confident leading the class. Training consists of a training workshop and two hours in the classroom with one of our existing programs.
It’s designed as a full-year program (September–June), which is what allows it to be so impactful developmentally andfinancially stable. That said, if a shorter structure feels like a better fit for your studio, we can absolutely talk through options.
We give you the structure so you don’t have to reinvent anything.
That includes: Weekly plans and class schedules, guidance on setup and flow & support with registration, waivers, and parent communication.

Curious Kids was created by Peggie Madden Marano and Kerri Smith, who bring over 50 years of experience in education.
Peggie holds a Master’s in Administration, Curriculum, and Instruction with a focus on early childhood psychology, and Kerri is a K–12 certified teacher and dance studio owner of 15+ years.
The program was intentionally created for a dance studio- using open daytime space to build a developmentally sound, revenue-generating program that supports young children’s social-emotional growth while setting them up to succeed in class and beyond.
Because it was built with both sides in mind- child development and business sustainability.
This isn’t theoretical. It’s been created, tested, and refined to be effective for kids and profitable for studios.
